How can I bid?

There are four ways to take part in our autions: room-bidding, leaving written pre-bids, telephone- or online-bidding. Here You will find all about bidding in our auctions.

Who determines the starting price?

The limit will be determined in a dialogue between the consignor and the experts.

What is meant with „bidder’s premium“?

Bidder’s premium is the comission the auctionhouse will receive for the service provided. The amount on your invoice results from the hammer price additional to the bidder’s premium of 21,5% (+19% VAT on the service) - will be 25,6% additional to the hammer price.
Live bidder via the internet platform lot-tissimo/The Saleroom have a bidder’s premuim of 24,5 % (+ 19% VAT on the service) - will be 29,2% additional to the hammer price.

Does Anticomondo ship to all countries?

Yes, without exclusions, we ship to all countries in the world.

How can I pay my invoice?

If you have been successful with the lots you have been interested in as room bidder, please return your bidder’s card to the reception desk and you will receive your invoice. The amount has to be paid for in cash or by EC card. We do not accept any credit cards at all.
Internet bidders can pay via bank transfer or Paypal.

When do I receive the objects won in the auction?

At the collection point for autioned-off goods room bidders will receive their purchased items. Internet bidders will receive their items via postal mail after payment.

How can I receive my purchased objects?

If you do not want to collect your objects in the auction house, we will arrange shipment for you. We ship with UPS, overseas with DHL or FedEx.

Can I collect my objects won in the auction directly at the auction house?

Yes, internet bidders and room bidders can collect their items (directly or after making an appointment) at the auction house.

Is it possible to return objects?

No, following German auction law, it is not possible to return an object you had won in the auction. Therfor we recommend to preview the lots you would like to bid on before auction. If there sould be no possibility for you to come to Bornheim, please ask for additional information and/or photographs via Email.

What happens to the unsold lots, how can I purchase them?

Unsold lots can be purchased for two weeks after each auction in the aftersale for the starting price plus bidder’s premium.
